I need to know if it will be bannable for players getting dishonorable kills in order to rank. There has been no posts or any blizzard attention. While getting the DK doesnt shorten my rank time, i will obtain rank 13 a week earlier to enjoy the gear 1 week early, as compared to being rank 12 84%. its better for me to dk to rank 11 95% and get rank 13 in 1 week. Is this cheating or clever use of game mechanics? Seriously any blue response before everyone is getting DKs

whiles i agree with you it is a positive solution to a wackadoodle system that oddly made better sense before the pvp patch.
I think honestly there are some code errors or design errors that they just did not consider due to lack of time in test.
in all fairness at least they are trying some new things

I mean, I would have just gone and picked up a DK, since it would never occur to me that it was bannable, but that’s coming from someone who’s never gone beyond rank 5.

They’re not going to ban you for getting a dishonorable kill to optimize your rank grinding. That’s absurd lol.
If starting a week off a notch lower in rank is beneficial to the player, and killing a civilian npc is going to achieve that, then that’s what players are going to do.
It’s not our fault they can’t manage to work a calculator when patching a 20 year old game with thousands of players.
