Is it because Intel Mac?

WOW not playable since pre-patch. Did all the usual fixes. (Trust me, after 18 years, I am pretty used to this). Including re-installing on every login. But nothing works, the game is unplayable.

Is it simply not runable on a slightly older iMac ?

Not keen on spending couple thousand on a new computer … just to run WOW.

Since you give no usable detail, no one can diagnose anything.

Here is the support article documenting the minimum and recommended system specifications for Dragonflight.

If you’re below the minimum spec, do not expect to be able to run Dragonflight.

If change zone, takes 20 minutes to fill in to point can play. Or just crashes, or cant log in etc.

Just wondering if I need a M1 iMac.

(Just don’t tell my wife.)

I don’t run a Mac, but I notice you don’t mention your storage.

One new part of this for DF is that SSD is the minimum standard. Spinning rust is just not fast enough any more. And your symptoms sound like poor I/O speed to me.

Ya - if its time for an upgrade, so be it. Just wanted to see if it is a known issue.
