So I am stuck in a conundrum and need advice of the community or even a real life GM.
So on my mage, I blinked fell through a tree and did the whole disconnection when logging in. I ready that it usually fixes it self in 15 minutes. I logged off and came back about 5 hours later. Still the same issue when I log onto that character he is dead and falling through the world but instantly kicked off (the release spirit is greyed out so I cant do a quick click to release spirit). It is only happening on that one toon. All other toons I can play.
I wrote a ticket and not sure if its an AI generated result or a real GM.
Here is the Ticket
My Mage, Kasterbater, blinked and fell though the world. He died and every time I log in, it shows he is dead, falling though a world (like going to old iron forge) and instantly disconnecting me. I waited over 8 hours hoping it will fix itself, but it hasn’t. Please help. I looked on the forums and it said usually 15 mins resets this problem, however its has been well over 8 hours and still having the same issues. Thanks
Here is the GM’s Response

We’re sorry you’re experiencing crashing, freezing, or performance issues in Battle.net game/app. We understand how frustrating this can be, but we’re here to help you resolve these issues. Please follow the steps below, and if the problem persists, consider contacting the game forums or consulting with a local tech expert for further assistance.
-
Update Graphics Drivers and Windows: Ensure your graphics drivers and Operating System are up-to-date.
-
Verify Game Files: For Blizzard's Battle.net launcher, select Battle.net App, click on the Options menu, and choose Scan and Repair.
-
Disable Background Applications: Close unnecessary background applications, as they might interfere with Battle.net App. Check for any resource-intensive programs running in the background and close them before launching the game.
-
Run as Administrator: Right-click the Battle.net App shortcut or executable and select "Run as Administrator." This ensures that the game has the necessary permissions to run smoothly.
-
Adjust In-Game Settings: Lower in-game graphics settings to reduce the strain on your system. Experiment with different settings to find a balance between performance and visual quality.
-
Check for Overheating: Monitor your system's temperature while playing. Overheating can cause crashes. Ensure that your CPU and GPU temperatures are within acceptable ranges. Clean any dust from your computer components and ensure proper ventilation.
-
Reinstall the game/app: Uninstall the game, restart your computer, and then reinstall the game. Corrupted installation files can lead to various issues, and a fresh installation might resolve the problem.
If, after following these steps, you are still experiencing issues, we recommend visiting the Battle.net game forums on the official Blizzard website. There, you can find a community of players and developers who can provide additional insights or solutions based on their experiences.
If all else fails, consider contacting a local tech expert who can perform a more in-depth analysis of your system to identify and resolve any hardware or software issues.
Like I said total AI response.
I tried to log in today and same results. I filled out another ticket saying that this issues isn’t resolved and that its only on that toon and no other toon. I also told him that I did the following:
- Scan and repair. (received an update but still the problem persisted)
- Verified all game files are in the correct area (which if it was a problem, i wouldn’t be able to log in to any characters, but the problem is just my mage).
- Deleted the cache, WTF, and interface folders.
- attempted the self service for stuck characters through battle.net but it errors on the websites end with error code 950e3896-0da4-47b9-b4f7-0b63c8eeace9.
- Read forums that suggests it will fix it self in 15 minutes when logged off. It has been almost 24 hours and still has not resolved.
Please, with the might of all GM power that you have, please move my character, Kasterbater, somewhere so I can play that character or tell me how to actually fix this issue that is evident its a server/in game issue.
This is the GMs Rainmithwens (who was the same GM that serviced the 1st ticket) response.

Rainmithwen is either AI or one of the worse GM’s at blizzard. Its nothing with any of those because it only effects that one character. All other characters are able to be played. The customer service has proven to be one of the worst in the gaming industry.
So I am asking the community what I can do or any suggestions on how to fix this issue with this one tune dead falling through the world that isnt resolving it self and causing a disconnection when logging on to that one character. I cant use the self service unstuck option on blizzards site because it errors out. Guildies even confirmed its a known issue at blizzard with their website. When I try on other characters in game I get the message “opps something went wrong on our end”. I have no idea what to do or how to fix this Please help
(sorry this is so long)
