i just joined a group, had tons of players trying to get into it. 6 players from Area-52 all with the same CR . They left group as soon as game started. i opened ticket, but is this a bannable offense?
lol of course not. The term is grief btw. Not grieve. Bannable offense? For that? LOL. If it was we’d have a lot less players.
This is why ticket queues are so long.
Why did they all leave?
Maybe there were all playing at the same house and they lost connection.
Until you KNOW why they all dropped, there’s nothing to complain about. And… pretty sure there’s no way you’re going to KNOW why they all dropped.
i know they dropped rating so they can continue selling carrys
no, not at all.
Should there be an extra punishment for leaving and screwing everyone over? Meh, probably, but it’s not bannable and not something that’s enforced.
This sort of thing used to be a reputation issue. You get blacklisted by enough people on your server you’ll start to have a harder time finding groups and friends… but that’s not an issue at all now that cross realm play destroyed reputations and accountability.
Seems to me there’s a bigger issue here…
Its bannable only if they did something that wasnt woke.
If you have to ask if it is bankable, it probably is.
Greifing in any form probably is as well.
Maybe they all left because they were trying to do some kind of win trading and their Alliance group got put in a different BG.
It’s not banneable but I think it would be nice to have a permanent mark on a players “inspect” tab on how many dungeons and battlegrounds people leave prematurely. Relatively low numbers? Meh, stuff happens. High numbers? Don’t group with them.
