I don’t pay too much attention to new for upcoming patches so I may have missed something. My friend is Inscription right now and has regularly complained that they don’t seem to have much available to them this expansion. She keeps wondering if there’s going to be anything coming out in 10.1 to make Inscription interesting to have, or if she should just drop it now because she isn’t having fun with it.
It seems with Inscription you get to make some reagents that other classes use, dragon armor that’s of pretty limited interest to most players, and some consumables for raiding. As far as I know, all the possibly interesting Inscription-crafted gear pieces were major flops.
Does anyone know if 10.1 is giving anything cool to Inscription? The only glyphs I saw were for DH and Warrior (neither of us play them right now) and some more dragon cosmetics.
Staves, offhands and profession tools have made me quite a few million, and paid for all my other professions.
Darkmoon trinkets were not awesome but they made me some money also. I have mixed feelings on these trinkets but do use them on my alts.
And finally, treatise is still in a constant demand. So at least you get some orders.
10.1 doesnt look great in this regard, i think. But all those staves, offhands etc will be possible to be recrafted.
I don’t get too much love as a scribbler, but those few looking for intelligence sticks are generally good customers. Tools at times too.
And its awsome, since most sticks even up to concentrated infusions are max rank (unless you add embellishments).
i think there were two new glyphs datamined.
one for warriors and one for demon hunters.
i’ve honestly considered dropping the profession so many times after being trapped at level 65 eternally…
the only thing that keeps me here is… how many old glyphs my character knows X-D
I’m essentially just waiting until tomorrow when they remove primal chaos so I can make staves to level up 
You always have sticks. And people will need stick recrafts. Sometimes trinkets…
If you have been truly trapped at 65 for months - do the profession quest for inscription at the Darkmoon Faire. It gives you 2 profession levels (ie will put you to 67) and 3 knowledge. The next faire starts on Sunday (starts 1st sunday of the month).
