It seems from both today’s attack and yesterday’s attack that the DDoS is disproportionately affecting the Herod realm with the majority of other realms largely undisturbed. If Blizzard could confirm that the attackers are specifically targeting Herod that might help cement some people’s decision to take the free transfer being offered off of the realm.

its 6 servers that are on the same ISP (Herod is one of them). Its a ISP attack this time so server restarts might not fix.
It does seem like Herod is one of the ones specifically under attack. Yesterday we couldn’t log in chars til almost 9pm
If you think Herod is just under attack your very very wrong, almost all realms went down yesterday, the twitter account said was specifically targetting pvp realms.
Number of realms went fully offline even.
Grobulus was down for hours, and is intermittent now still.
Today isn’t yesterday dude. Plenty of streamers are playing still, and have been.
Hope the 10+ years in prison is worth it. Its a Fed crime and its a billion dollar company with alot of capital.

Whitemane, Faerlina, Stalagg and Pagle are all High or Full and I have Bnet friends playing on them right now. Asmongold, Payo and several other streamers are all online without issue.
This appears to be affecting Herod and Thalnos specifically. And yesterday Herod seemed to take the brunt of the attacks too, unable to log into Kalimdor specifically until nearly 10:00pm.
This does appear to be quite targeted and if we’re looking forward to weeks of Herod being unplayable (much like the 2016 LizardSquad attacks) players should be informed of that.
Blizzard just isn’t prioritizing Herod to be fixed because none of the big streamers are on Herod. All the servers with popular streamers are up.

i’m on westfall. was in a gnomeregan group. when we killed last boss, i tried to hearth out and i cant. world server is down. for 20 minutes, we couldnt even communicate and there are no npcs in ironforge. my character is stuck in gnomer haha.
