Full gnomer clear last night, logs (including trash) show 0 procs. Checked a few other logs from other warlocks running the rune, shows either 0 procs, or a couple showed 2-3 for the entire run.
Is it actually bugged and not proccing, or is warcraft logs not reporting it correctly?
Unless you’re running talents into improved firebolt you’ll average 1 proc every 40 seconds from your pet. This change ironically only really helped destruction locks with pure PvE talent builds. The one setup that didn’t need help.
Yeah, but 0 (or a couple) for an entire clear doesn’t seem right does it?
The buff is incredibly RNG for locks whos pets aren’t attacking every second. Sounds unlucky but not surprising. (Unless you have 2/2 improved fire bolt, then it’s not right).
Didn’t proc on pet either, and I’m spamming SP on GCD every fight, and trash pack.
Did you remember to buff yourself? It’s a 30 minute buff you have to activate. (Not trying to insult your intelligence I promise).
haha yeah, i’ll give it another go next lockout. I’ve just spent 30mins running around attacking mobs and not been able to make it proc either.
Make sure you activate the spell , it’s a buff you have to have it on .
I just swapped back to shadow and flame, then back to synergy and it procced within a minute of me attacking mobs. Must have been something weird bugged because I had it on before the hotfix.

This was 100% me last night. Didn’t realize it was a casted ability until I checked my logs post raid.
Incredibly stupidly designed rune. Absolutely no reason to make it not only a casted buff, but also have the buff duration be on the pet instead of you. Just all around cumbersome design.
Haha yup. I wonder if it has something to do with rune swapping.
