So, Genshin has some content… what does that have to do with WOW though?
Genshin is a F2P, P2W trash game… it cultivates a completely different player-base.

Because those are the people you surround yourself with.
I never said there was no one in wow who also liked Genshin. That doesnt make them the same game, or mean they have “significant overlap” I like Maplestory, that doesnt mean it’s going to have an impact on wow, or that they overlap.

there is literally zero overlap besides the rpg part. you cant even see people unless youre grouped in genshin. what are you on about…

This would be a hit, tbh. It doesnt even need to be the best gameplay, but rather something stupid like escaping the Capitol while avoiding Lindsey Graham wearing the latest items from the victorias secret fashion show

A pay to win gacha mobile game is not real competition for WoW. Or really any PC MMOs.
Sure there might be some overlap but competition? Nah. No one who’s an avid WoW player is going to sit at their desk and play on their phone. Sure maybe some WoW players play it a bit when they’re not a home and only have access to their phones. But it is not competition in any real way.

WoW should steal BOTW’s UI like Genshin did, clearly.
Trash storytelling ruined it. Stopped caring after they killed signora.
Genshin also looks dated now. More modern cell shading games have so much more detail its insane how fast things improve
