Is frost dk really that bad in m+?

I like to climb or try to at least in the spare time that i have. i want to do over 10’s but iv been told frost dk isint worth taking.

is it true? am i stuck playin unholy? not that i ahve a problem with that im jsut tired of playing unholy

Been running 17s with frost dk dps that pumps. They’re solid.

You can pass the DPS check on any dps spec in the game. If you’re not pushing +20s then play what you enjoy.

Not sure why so many people include this, but it goes without saying. The people pushing 20s already know and everyone not doesn’t care what 20s are doing.

Is it better than DW? No.
But it’s easily good enough to do the content you are asking about.

Frost dk isn’t bad, but good dks are playing unholy. The ones who play frost are likely bad for playing the easiest spec over the better but more complex one, aka unholy. So, most groups would avoid frost. Personally, even during the frost meta, I found unholy players overall are more skilled than frost.

Regardless I play dps dk or not.
Firstly, it’s a consensus that frost dk is one of the easiest dps, if not the easiest, specs in game. The easier specs tend to attract the worse players.
Secondly, it’s my observation that unholy players, overall, are better than frost dk. Similarly, an arcane mage is likely more skilled than a bm hunter player. Feel free to disagree, but your disagreement holds no value to me.

Frost is the biggest sleeper spec of the season. Insane priority damage.

Current unholy is the worst version of unholy I’ve ever played. They destroyed the spec coming out of Dragonflight
