i use nameplate auras

basically the same addon and having no issues

I was using neatplates until it started lagging my game only whenever I played a mage

I downloaded plater and while it does take some setting up, I’m never using anything else

I installed betterblizzplates and grabbed sauls profile. Has been working for me. I used to use flyplate but it got buggy and switched to plater. Plater works well but it takes a while to setup but it’s good once you get the hang of how it works. I went to betterblizzplates cause I didn’t feel like going through the hassle again after uninstalling

Look at the comments on curseforge’s flyplatebuff page, and get bambiiqt’s updated version. The GitHub updated version works, but it’s not a bad time to update to a new addon entirely since flyplate is no longer being developed by the original author.

Remi pointed it out already but Nameplate Auras is essentially the same addon.

i couldnt see any of those on curseforge either

I know how to fix it. You have to delete 1 line of the code in Lua file. However I’d recommend Nameplate Auras instead. More customizable and easy to use. You can download it from

You can download twwfix from curseforge which seems to have worked for me if you don’t want to change to another nameplate addon. It doesn’t replace it, but it does seem to have restored functionality. As others have stated BetterBlizzPlates and Nameplate Auras are good alternatives as well. Flyplatebuffs is no longer being updated, and hasn’t been in some time.

Yes. FlyPlateBuffs is discontinued similar to sArena and Gladius. There are some versions updated by someone else but their creators quit WoW and no longer update them.
