So you are going to enjoy flying in BFA for 1year and 5months.
honestly we should have been enjoying it from the start. i really wonder if the people who advocated for it to be taken out are miserable.

Because early on you can just skip everything? so you want flying day 1 of BFA so you can just mount and fly and level from 110 to 120 within a hour? that’s not what they want you to do.
They want you to explore, quest etc… every beginning of each expac.
Then you can fly after few months later for 1 YEAR AND 6MONTHS.

but why though? that seems redundant. i can explore while flying. when i’m doing quest i’m not exploring because it’s already too grindy as it is. i’m slugishly moving along from quest to quest.
i have less of an incentive to explore when i can only move at the pace of a slug.

Like I said, they don’t design the game based on what you think…
Every single fresh xpac = You have to walk, be slow… Why? because you would get bored quickly. it’s an MMO … you can’t just have everything day 1 then for the rest of the months you have nothing else to work on.

I never said anything about having flying day one or skipping everything. Not once.
I believe Pathfinder part one is the only part we need. Because by the time part one is unlocked, people have leveled through all of the zones-- even on alts-- and run dailies on the ground, because you need to for rep. That’s all of the content. A few times over.
Part two is needless. People have multiple alts and multiple exalted reps across said multiple alts by now. That content has been done for a while.
Flying adds more areas to explore, more depth to the zones from a different perspective, better ability to do side stuff like pet battles, Archaeology, gathering professions, etc.
If they’d add in dangerous places to fly over and small areas of world quests that are only accessible by flying-- like they used to-- they’d be adding more content to this game, instead of this pointless war against it.
Which we’ve already done. Multiple times.
A few months later? LOL It’ll be a full year and we’ll be well into the flightless end zone before we get to fly.

Not even that carrot may save them from more subscriber losses.
If Activision is smart they will suck it up and drop it in 8.1.5 and kill pathfinder 2.
Servers are starting to look a tad empty and I hear more and more of what remaining friends I have in game heralding another MMO as the Warcraft killer now.
Warcraft Killer you scoff and laugh, yet they are telling me they are having a lot more fun there than in here and are considering shuttering their accounts for a long time.
I’m not saying what one they are playing, they’ve told me on Discord and keep nagging me to come to it. Activision/Blizzard aren’t stupid they’ll figure out which one it is.

i for one am waiting for my sub to run out. i’m already playing FFXIV. I have a house, a max level character, savage gear. i got 9 more days on this wow sub and then poof. off to final fantasy for their new expansion and patch quest.

I’ve unlocked all the Allied races (or completed the requirements), done pathfinder one, and gotten to where I can get the new upcoming mounts. I have also leveled multiple toons. It’s taking away any motivation to even play some days. That is not a good place for me to be.

Yes your right but then Activision/Blizzard has never had as bad a time as they are having right now.
When in the HISTORY of Activision/Blizzard have you EVER heard of them having to fire employee’s just to pay share holders.
When in the entirety of Activision/Blizzard have you EVER seen them NOT have ONE IP be released in a current year.
Writing is on the wall for Activision/Blizzard - going on the cheap to try and make a quick and easy buck instead of putting quality into their games; has brought the company to it’s current state.
Then they will be left with 100 K subscribers at best and their development staff will be cut in half. After all, you don’t need a huge development staff for 100 K subscribers.
Rofl about the statement we’re going to be hiring more development staff, probably a false flag message. In short the development staff will never see it coming when the Axe starts swinging again.
Remember, they have financial quarters still coming up. Got to pay the stock holders some how and Activision Dumped Bungie and have NO prospects of NEW games for this year.
Where’s the money going to come from to pay the stock holders in their next quarter.
