Yes.
Go level up fishing in The Barrens. Deviate Fish are selling for better than a gold each on my server.

On my server fishing is not great for gold. I’m sure this is server-dependent though. If you level it you can do the daily properly (outside of Crocs in the City which you can do at fishing skill 1). It’s also a "free’ profession so if you have the time why not.
Check your AH and decide from there what you want to do.

Fishing is one skill that lvls just as fast in any zone.

Look up guides that level your fishing and cooking at the same time. It’s insanely boring though. Prepare movies/TV

If you haven’t picked up the Weather-Beaten Journal which teaches you the ability to track fish, go to Booty Bay and fish the pools along the western shore of STV. You’ll fish up a lockbox containing it in 20 minutes or less.
Then head to The Barrens and start fishing the Deviate Fish pools. There are three lakes, ride between them, the pools should respawn fast enough that you can always be fishing pools.
It’s a pretty painless, and fairly profitable way to level fishing.

yes , it is casual with benefits.
All of the fish serve as pretty decent food for raiding. Even if it doesn’t sell all the time it is quick and brainless farm. I a few minutes a week outside the daily and it is a nice 5-10 minute break.
Also you can get engineerin mats from Sanger marsh and that has saved me a pretty penny.
