In standard WoW, it pretty much became redundant. But what about in Classic?
It’s godly. Even healers should level it.
Extremely useful while leveling to help reduce downtime.
Even if you’re a healing class, you should pick up First Aid.
Depending on the class, it’s damned near essential.
Health totals are a lot lower in classic. You’ll go many levels without gear upgrades, and stam gear is a god send. Because of this, each bandage heals for so much more.
Every warrior moonlights as a medic and chef.
Even classes with heals will get a lot of use out of it.
As a rogue in Vanilla, there were times I would have to step back from a dungeon fight and bandage myself because the heals were having trouble keeping up. So yeah, it can be worth it. Plus it gets rid of all that pesky cloth you pick up if you’re not playing the AH or making a tailor.
Woah thanks for the swift replies all. Glad to know that First Aid actually does something to Classic. Guess I’ll be picking it up.
it depends the class ur against
ex : against rogues not so good unless he does not aply poisons
against pallys very good
against priest it´s depends
against warrior excellent
against shammy good
against hunters fair
But what if I’m making a tailor? I’m planning on a Priest with tailoring and enchanting. Would it strain the resources?
Its essential, first aid is something that can not be gone without in classic. You really don’t have an option to not pick it up if you’re taking the game seriously
A bit, but honestly you get so much cloth you will have more than you need to level first aid
Good to know, thanks!
First aid is an absolute requirement and should be leveled as fast as possible.
Its absolutely useful.
Most classes dont have self heals and even the ones that do struggle with mana.
pick up ALL secondary professions, they are all helpful. Also you get more out of the game.
Really? I remember wool and mageweave being damned hard to come by.
Besides, everyone needs to do that First Aid Quest in Theramore (I think) at least once.
Depends on where you level. If you level in areas that have wool and mageweave its easy to find, problem is that those areas are always out of the way and no where near the raid/population hubs.
Most assuredly a useful and necessary skill.
Even if you can heal yourself, unless you have a stash of mage food kicking around you’ll want to let your mana regen on its own while you bandage after a fight.
Yes. There’s several raid bosses where the entire raid bandaging themselves after an aoe to save healer mana is normal.
