Is farming my own herbs worth it?

to sell them or make pots/flasks with? i was told by some its not worth it unless i multibox

also i have bfa flying if it matters

the way i use alchemy right now, is i buy the herbs when tsm says i will make a profit from crafting, but i dont like the risk of putting my own gold out for that

also i have 750k right now, is it possible to get 5 mill for the bruto iyo before it goes away with just making pots/flasks? i am on horde area 52 if it matters

You have to look at the AH and see what herbs are going and then figure out how many herbs you can get per hour and do a simple calculation. Is it worth money/hr worth it or should you farm something else? Herb/Alchemy is tough now because the expansion is coming to a close.

I don’t know how much time you have but if we have 2 months until pre-patch, you’re looking at producing 75k every single day.

BFA herbs are so freakin cheap now.

The only time it’s worth gathering is at the start of an expansion. Herbs are worthless at the end of an expansion. You’d be wasting your time doing it right now.

Honestly, this late in the game - depending on your server and how pots/flasks are selling, probably not. The bruto will go away in prepatch which is suspected to drop in like the next 2 months, so thats alot of gold to hustle at the end of an xpack where the market has tanked. You’d make quicker gold selling freehold levelling runs, mythic + carries, aotc kills etc
