Not sure if this is a balance issue or a community perception issue. Seems like tank (Prot Pally/War), healer(Disc Priest), Aug, Enhance seem to be only thing showing up these days. If this is a balance issue, Bliz needs to learn from the screw up of S2 Dragonflight. If it’s a community issue, wth is wrong with ppl? I see this especially bad in the 8-12 key range, where people just try to mimic what they from higher.
Enhance FotM players are usually trash, or worse reroll ranged players dipping their feet into melee. Truly a treat to watch. lol. This is not news tho, most FotM tend to be this way.
TL:DR: It shouldn’t feel like a completely different game between my main and my alt.
There are definite room for balancing classes better, but I do feel like it is mainly a community issue. What drives people to meta swap? Social media. They see someone else swap so then they swap because they think it will get them further. For most, it probably won’t because they don’t understand the game mechanics to begin with.
Still not as bad as SL 3 and 4 with Warlock/Hunter if you remember that tuning mess.
Shaman has been pretty funny with there being a boatload of Ele players started popping and Enhance number took a slight dip when 11.05 was about to drop because that one GIF we all know awas making the circuits. Then by the time the next week started and the Ele nerf and bug fixes were in, Ele players dropped substantially and Enhance increased again.
I still think it’s really dumb that Enhance is basically getting the VIP treatment. Anyone who doesn’t see that is kinda delusional. Seeing groups built around 1 class is pretty dumb.
Wasn’t it in Dragonflight where they said, “Bring the player, not the class.” That seems to have gone right out the window.
Oh, I thought you meant as in ease of play.
[Edit]
Well, with the forecast buffs/nerfs, looks like Enhance got sniped. Will it be enough? No idea. Sounds big though.
