WoWhead people are saying the Bloodgate method has been hotfixed now, and isn’t dropping as much as it was day one.
Might want to not go suggesting that if you don’t want angry “return customers”.
I’ve given up and gone the daily route myself. At 27 now, just log in, get my 6 in 3-4 minutes, log off.

Nope farmed it all out at blood gate, took awhile.
When someone specifically pays for an item, there should not be a one percent droprate on quest items to get it that can take people days or weeks to complete due to their personal time constraints.
Don’t be so insulting.
Not something that someone paid $20 for.
No one cares about your PvP kills. It has zero to do with an item that was specifically purchased.
The extra $20 is for a boost, the mount, and the quest for the transmog.
And yes, people paid that extra $20 for those items— only to find out they can’t even get one item till hours/days/weeks later.
No. The issue is with the ridiculous grind on the quest.
I’ll remind you of that if they ever add a store mount that you pay for and then have to wait weeks to get because it’s locked behind a grind.

It’s time gated in the sense that your first drop of the day will give you 5-6 and after that it has a super crappy drop rate and you only get 1. When dailies reset your next drop will be another 5-6 and then back to the drip feed of 1 every bajillion kills.
Idk…killed stuff for like 30 minutes and got nothing so people saying the first drop is quick and easy are lying
not going to lie, don’t really like the mog much…kinda wanted to see if I could get it before a guildy just to troll him but gave up, figure I’ll get it overtime.
Total honesty…the mount is meh, the mog is meh, but that hearthstone…that hearthstone is worth it

Oh and I already have every class to 120…including some duplicates…any ideas on what to use this boost on? If only it worked on allied races unlocks.

It’s definitely not a first drop for some people, took me awhile to get my first 6, then another 6 today. Kudos to the people who’ve gotten the set in 2-6 hours, I’ll just stick to my 5-6 daily drops.

No, you didn’t. You paid for the expansion that included a quest for the set, you didn’t pay for the set. Happy grinding!
Without fail, the people complaining in these kind of threads are almost always geared entirely in world quest, lfr, warfront and emmisary gear.
A reminder to consider the source when viewing something like this.
Do you have an alliance character? it would be worth boosting one just to see the story or unlock things.
Im using mine to work on finishing up my set of horde toons, trying to pick between shaman, Warlock, Priest or Rogue. whichever i want to level least.
Nope, you also paid for the set. The bonuses are literally what hike the price tag up, they provide an incentive for people to spend more money. A set that is locked behind a $60-$80 price tag shouldn’t also make you partake in a pointless grind. Happy bootlicking!

Struggling to get your point here. Is there an intrinsic value in dully farming the same mobs for hours on end while hoping RNG smiles down on you that only a truly epic Gamer would understand?

It’s only a big deal to people who don’t do organized endgame content, whether it’s this or flying, these world quest geared players get inordinately upset over something as innocuous as a tmog set.
It’s not a big deal or worth getting upset over

That’s the thing though, they aren’t upset over a tmog set. It’s the fact it’s already gated behind a 60-80 dollar paywall and that the quest seems so unnecessary that it intuitively feels like it has to be a mistake, even though it likely isn’t. When we’re pre-ordering content for an expansion that advertises itself on getting rid of the much-loathed RNG element of BFA, and then the quest they put the mog behind is a boring RNG grindfest, it really doesn’t inspire confidence in their quest design moving forward. The quest has literally no functional purpose beyond wasting time. No lore, no in-universe context for the armor, nothing.

So it’s basically masochism. Got it.

If you don’t like this, you may not like the new anima power system (AP).
Going forward, blizz is going to focus on giving you daily/weekly caps on everything with strong catch up systems to prevent things like people farming islands all day for azeroth power.

If it’s not fun, don’t do it lmao

Once you have 3-4 mortality, you should really stop trying for the day.
Furthermore, you are going to get 3-4 mortality just doing your emissaries / dailies.
After 10 days, you should have it without trying.
