Is Elune really a void goddess?

Since we, the night elf race, have a void goddess on our side, we are the strongest race. Unlike the twilight cultists, we worship a goddess that is actually in our universe. Not only that, but her tears are one of the Pillars of Creation. She also gave birth to Cenarius, who taught Malfurion druidism. Malfurion’s husband is Tyrande, who happens to be the Night Warrior, which is Elune the void goddess’s vengeance imbued in her.

Furthermore, only the strongest void gods can be in our universe, and only for a limited time. For Elune to be an actual void goddess, she would be the most powerful one to have been in our universe for tens of thousands of years. So the night elves have arguably the most powerful being in the universe on their side.

Of course, the Horde being the Horde, calmly walks into nelf lands and casually burns down Teldrassil while this void goddess sits there and can’t do anything. We feed her a head and she kills some Horde, but it took her a head to do that. So if she really I’d a void goddess, how was the Horde able to do anything to her chosen race?

I’ve always wondered if Elune was a Dark Troll loa first and then warped to look like a night elf after the Dark Trolls became them; or if the Dark Trolls worshiped her and then she mutated and twisted the trolls to look like night elves.

I killed 2 Old Gods, Argus and Aggramar.

One more “God” for the wood chipper.

Elune is a murloc. Search your feelings, you know it’s true.

I’d be shocked if Elune isnt just Azeroth’s World Soul.

Yeah.

Do we know what Elune looks like though?

Erm… those weren’t old gods

It’s a goddess.

Murlocs live on the moon?

Isn’t Azeroth still sleeping?

I can accept that.

She’s awake enough to send Magni to yell at us about her wounds.

Yeah, I used to have some books back in the day that showed her. She looked, at least 15 years ago, like a night elf with a fancy space dress. But who knows, maybe when they introduce her into WoW she will look like a Dark Troll after all! That would be cool.

I didnt say “2 Old Gods: Argus and Aggramar”.

I said “2 Old Gods, Argus and Aggramar”

Those two statements mean radically different things.

Ah, ok :stuck_out_tongue:

I could see it :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah, ok :stuck_out_tongue:

Forgive my tired, sleep-deprived brain.

But have you killed a void goddess?

If you mean the tabletop RPG books, pretty much everything in those has been declared non-canon.

Yeah, that’s what I mean. Who gives an eff about the lore at all. It’s meaningless.

Did you just Assume Yoggs gender?

Last I was aware Yogg identifies as a trans spacial tentacle monster with a side of spaghetti.

Still not a goddess ^.^

She is most likely just a fusion of Light and Void when the Lords of light and Void clashed for the first time. She is the only true Deity of the Warcraft Universe. She created the Naruu to help maintain the Balance of the Universe but is failing.

Or she is a Lord of Light could be the Last one and like the Void lords cant get into our universe. She can sometimes use Azeroth’s moons as gateways to help from time to time. She created the Naruu in the same way the Void lords created the Old gods to spread her influence.
