When server communities died so did ED. WoD was the last bastion for ED.

I returned 3 days ago from maybe close to a decade of being gone. This server is empty. I might be able to count the number of players I saw on one hand.

Is it? The realm count says high, I just made two new level 80’s in remix because the server I’m currently on has a population of low. I’m hoping it’s truly not dead. Not seeing other players takes away from the experience.

Realm is fine and you can join a guild on a different server if you want. Realms are no longer very important. Moonguard has more lag issues and trade chat overload.

MG will always have a leg up on all other realms. That leg up is Goldshire.

IS Emerald Dream fine? I am just returning and don’t want to pick a realm I’m just going to transfer off. Are crafting orders getting done? Is there a community?

I went to moonguard and its very busy, however the latency there is about 40 or so higher vs when I log here. which is weird because its same timezone.

I agree, this server seems dead at times, but its def not. It’s a very stable server as well, my ms stays at 9-10 at all times unless server side funkyness is going on.

Well, the road to 80 was just fine here on ED. The lag is significantly less than MG. I would also acknowledge that ED is more populated and active Alliance-side than WrA. Not sure about Horde. I do remember Mort and I hope he comes back soon. Then we’ll all know, without a doubt, that ED is back.
