I remember during retail, my server was always booming as far as dueling went (I played in two different servers and both were this way). If you went outside of Orgimmar or Ironforge, there were pretty much always 10-15 people outside dueling, regardless of time of day.
Does this exist on anyone’s server currently? On my server there’s never anyone outside dueling. In fact I’ve never seen it. While I understand there’s lots of better ways to spend your time, I miss the fun of just sitting outside dueling other players, and I wish my server had that. Just curious if that’s something that any of you actually still experience?

it happens on Bloodsail Buccaneers from time to time. Not nonstop, but I see it outside Stormwind every so often. Less so with Ironforge.
Seems to not even be a thing anymore. Not sure exactly what changed

I would guess that due to the Classic Dueler’s League, it happens on Faerlina a lot more than on other servers.
World buff meta.
Classic is a raiding game for most people. They’re going to farm for raids, get their buffs for raids and then log off until the raids.

You are correct, but ill never understand why. Raids are worst part about classic for me lol.
I wouldn’t know. I live in BRM.
At least for Alliance, you used to be able to duel inside of IF by going behind the pillar next to the bank. I always remembered dueling more that way, rather than going outside the gates.
But yeah, I think the dude above hit it on the head. People META Classic too much. They get their world buffs and keep their main logged out until raid time.
