Wtf do you mean “alive”?

My sod guild is going to dream scythe for TBC. It will probably be very heavy ally favored. If your going horde probably go NS.

Ally side is alright. The leveling push is over though so it’s not like instant groups or anything

Smart move may be wait for prepatch when the flood of leveling happens again. Beyond that it’s decent

Its the best option for leveling in anniversary. NS is dead outside of raid logging

More dead than era servers

NS is king

I see people often in zones leveling/questing/etc.

I also see a lot of bots.

95% of chat is people wanting to buy or sell boosts.

BAN BOOSTING

I’m probably gonna power-level my (2) Warlock alts from 29 to 39 this month, thanks to a temporary increase in free time.

that the low-level PVP brackets are dead is disappointing tho

All pvp brackets are dead ATM unfortunately. AV is the only thing that pops and it’s not much pvp.

There’s a long line of forum posters who are wrong nearly all the time and you somehow are near the top of that list.

Horde DS is completely fine and will only improve with TBC since horde is by far the stronger faction in both PvE and PvP in TBC

DS is currently 60/40 ally favored. Population for phase 5/6 will make it more imbalanced as people quit. For TBC it will probably lean back more to 50/50 but I doubt it since DS players are garbage and don’t care about meta. They only reason horde might see a rise is unironically they can now make pretty belfs

Uhhh

Why would more horde quit p5/p6 than alliance?

Sure ppl will quit… won’t they quit together in similar %s?

And also DS players generally are the same skill level as the average NS player.

It’s wow classic… every class is two buttons. Let’s relax with “garbage” and not caring Abt meta. It’s wow classic the entire game is min maxed.

Some ppl just don’t find world pvp appealing the 6th re-launch of a game with awful PvP

Everything of all levels has been fine for me except for as mentioned above pvp outside of AV is dead.

We’re alive! Come join us!

I’d make an alt there but any good name is currently rotting on an account that unsubbed 1 month after Anniversary launch.

WoW has always been garbage when it comes to allowing people to save 50 names they’ll never use.

until Blizzard get their thumb out their kolo to ban bots and boosting why bother playing and supporting this crap version of a classic game?

Because I actually enjoy the game. I get it.

For now.

NS has about 2x as many horde raiders as DS. 2x more players to group with and a much more active ah is a big deal. As the population declines in later phases, Horde DS will be the first one to die off. We have to wait until nax launches to really see though. On sod, the sole pve server wild growth’s horde playerbase died off several months before the other faction/servers.

I hope I’m wrong and you guys have a healthy pop for the remainder of classic anniversary.

other than being bot city its pretty good. Plenty of raids happening and people recruiting for 1-2 spots.

lol… There’s 1 choice for us that have been through the pvp thing multiple times and just can’t be asked to do it again. On top of that there is a constant feed from the hardcore server and the conversion rate is actually not too bad. DS will be fine

It’s good right now but We are just about to enter the phase that has historically led to a huge drop off in classic players.

3 months of aq and then we can see if DS horde will alright.

I have been on the other side of this where I had to abandon my pve characters on a dead faction/realm to go start over in a PvP server that was still very healthy.
