Just wanted to be sure before I rep grind out valdrakken or if I need to do so on my hunter specifically.
will getting the dragonkin taming ability on any class unlock it for hunters on my account? I’ve heard it might for the ottuk taming but can’t find confirmation anywhere.
how exactly do you unlock the ability to tame stuff like Slyverns, Ottuks, etc? Is it Renown based?
Yes.
Ottuks need renown 11 with Iskaara and dragonkin need 23 with Valdrakken. Slyverns are feathermanes, so you may have that already if you did the Legion quest.
I still dont have legion feathermane taming i wasnt into the system that much cause it was very grindy and got old near end but Blizz had already committed to BFA system early into Legion and didn’t take growing resentment on losing borrowed power and went thru it again in shadow lands.
That means Blizzard already knows what the next expansion will be.
But ideally they leave it unchanged so you spend sub time farming old content. Me i went thru all main storyline but didnt do any the dungeon or raid quest for my order hall so i wonder how close i was to geting the hunter mounts and taming. feathermane
They got rid of all the time gated stuff on the Broken Shore so it probably won’t take more than a day, maybe two if you need to wait for a table mission or something.
You don’t even see the reward on non hunters. I think it needs done on hunter. Also iskaara is same way. This is a guess though
