I’m on my lock, lv 17 atm and it’s been pretty boring leveling ngl.
How long does this process take to hit 60? I’m thinking of buying a boost but idk, $60 is a price of a whole new game lmao.

Leveling is very fast right now.
^ You push it out my man. Not worth the money in the least.
Where do I level at?
Wherever you want.
It depends. If all your financial needs are met, it becomes a question of cost instead of a question of opportunity cost.
It costs about 12 hours to level a toon to 70 casually.
So, if you make more than ~$5 an hour, it probably makes sense to buy the boost.
Edit: highlighted “all”. This means that $60 is just going to sit in your checking account indefinitely. That means it’s not budgeted for anything else. Spending money.
It’s totally subjective based on you, your wallet and your patience…and possibly on how many times you’re going to do it.
Leveling the first couple of times can be slow. The more you do it, the faster you usually get.
Its an mmo you gota lvl up… not an instant jump into action new content specially when a new player, plus you gonna learn the game, if you buy a boost then your just gonna be a noob 60
yes. for a cost of $60 it aint worth it tbh. $60 is a LOT of money for a damn boost given how fast it is to level.
i just level in WoD chromie time but i had WoD flying idk if they gave people WoD flying for free now. takes maybe 1-2 days depending how much u play
honestly it’s not worth buying the boost anymore. It’s extremely fast to level, try doing the BfA zones or the WoD zones until lvl 40.
Then when you have super fast flying do some of the original “low” level vanilla zones (redridge, westfall, darkshore alliance) (silverpine, hillsbrad, barrens horde).
Or you can just keep doing the BfA/WoD zones. You can get from 1-60 by just doing one of those tbh.
I haven’t tried SL zones yet.
I just leveled my new dh in a week. Do chromie time and dungeon spam. Very worth it.
dont buy the boost for a couple reasons.
1st - leveling to 60 can be done in hours, there are tons of videos about speed leveling. just use wow pro guides or some other addon to run you through it without thinking and binge some anime.
2nd - you will learn the class a little better as you level up and get new abilities. its not something you cant overcome with the boost, but still beneficial
3rd - $60 is way overpriced to save 6-7 hours of grinding. back when it took more like 20 hours it made more sense.
4th - pick an expansion you skipped through chromie time, or one you havent played in awhile. im leveling one through cata since its story relevant right now… the problem is thou that leveling is so fast I wont make it through all the zones
Can you level to 60 in a single “expansion”? i.e. if I started a 10 in, say, Pandaria, would I ding 60 before I finished it?
you can get to 60 in the first zone of pandaria if you do all the quests… i have a couple of allied race classes that did that
Level up via spamming dungeons, it will be much faster and less boring than questing
Really? Jade Forest and you’re 60? Wow.
Before the level squish I would boost new toons. 1 to 120 just didn’t make a lot of sense to me. But then again I missed a lot of the game that way. Since the squish I will level alts from 1 to 60. Not worth it to pay for a boost now and I got to experience the parts of the game that I missed originally.
yea, pretty much. I usually grab herb and mining on new alts as well for the xp while running around. i also play in war mode with full heirlooms, to stretch my rested xp… there are al sorts of shortcuts like that… but even if you didn’t have all that stuff, you can hit 60 in 2 zones for sure.
You can power level to 60 in 5ish hours. Is that worth 60 bucks to you? If not, look up leveling guides on Youtube.
it aint worth paying for now.
just a few hours, couple play sessions if you have the time.
Run dungeons, quest while in queue.
