Is divine intervention still in HC?

or did they take it out :expressionless:
I DO think paladins should have the option to sacrifice themselves forever to give someone they want to save a bubble.

Then they should give me, and only that ability. Nobody else is worthy of true divinity.

DI should be in. It’s not a rez and it costs one life at least. No conflict with HC.

There goes Cauchy #7.

Can’t imagine why they wouldn’t. I was thinking the same thing about Spirit of Redemption, how cool it would be to see a priest throwing out its final heals before inevitably biting the dust.

Or a well timed DI can put someone in a bad spot too!

Honestly I’d prefer if they left reincarnation in the game on shamans also.

The only actually problematic thing is soulstones I think, because then people would refuse to do dungeons or raids without warlock alts soulstoning everyone.

DI is nothing like shaman reincarnation though :expressionless:
Nobody is getting revived with DI.

Omg now I have to get a paladin to 60. The ultimate way to go out.

Yeah I know, but I don’t have a problem with reincarnation. It’s a feature of the class. It’s like taking divine shield away from a paladin. Many situations where you die without it you’re still going to die with it (dying in crowded cave, raid, dungeon, etc.). Shaman has the lowest 60 success rate of any class in HC and horde ends up with few players anyway. Don’t like taking core features of a class away unless it’s something that will systematically affect the game (like soulstones), particularly from the faction that is already heavily disfavored. I get why others disagree, but personally I would leave it if I could control the server, which I can’t.

blizzard already dealt with this. the paladin equivalent of shaman reincarnation is the bubble hearth, and they removed that for fairness :expressionless:

I guess divine intervention is really the ultimate sacrifice and may feel bad that you have to start over when there was that small chance you could have lived but in a situation where you know it’s very likely you’re going to die and you can save one friend it’s a very epic spell to use in this regard and in my opinion very lore accurate as actual full revives are very rare so making such a sacrifice is truly noble and is a good representation of what a true paladin stands for and is willing to do.

I mean its not really equivalent, bubble hearth removes you from the zone, reincarnation puts you back where you just died with low hp/mana.

DI Rivendare/Patchwek tank
entire raid evaporates in seconds

DI Zeliek tank
Entire Raid evaporates

DI enraged Huhuran
entire raid evaporates

Yeah,nah. Remove it.

I mean if you really want to grief there’s lots of places you can ninja pull bosses and such without using DI lol, any class can do it.

other ways to grief exist so dont fix this one

:dracthyr_tea:

Griefing has nothing to do with the ability, any class can grief on a dozen different bosses and wipe most of the raid. Griefers can just as easily roll tanks and pull the boss onto the raid, exactly what happened to HC Elite, should you remove taunt ? If you’re so paranoid of paladins who could bubble pull a boss and grief you anyway then I dunno how you’re ever going to raid. If you’re doing AQ40 and naxx all you have to do is stand in the c’thun door lol

Any spell can be used to grief. Frostbolt can pull a boss! Take it away from mages! Hunter pets can pull… better remove them too. Rogues can accidentally body pull while trying to stealth up to a mob… remove the whole class!

DI can be used to save an individual (especially in duo leveling) just as much as it could be used to grief. It doesn’t need a fix.

If you are worried about it, don’t play.

How many of those other abilities ate hard threat wipes that are usable at any moment.

Your logic is literally

this method of griefing should stay because other methods of griefing might exist too!

Again, DI can be used to save an individual (especially in duo leveling) just as much as it could be used to grief. It doesn’t need a fix.
