Is Dimensius An Appropriate Final Boss?

Factors for Dimensius:

  • He is a long time established character from tBC.
  • He is canonically a planet buster, having destroyed at least one planet (K’aresh) and having almost destroyed another planet (Karkora), who survived due to the sacrifice of the Naaru T’uure.
  • He is a living blackhole.

Factors against Dimensius:

  • He was a glorified quest mob from tBC’s D plot.
  • He was completely abandoned and forgotten during the 8 Expansions between tBC and TWW.
  • He is a big Warlock pet.

But then after an army of murderhobos kills you (every tuesday, somehow!), who will make toys for Winter Veil?

All I know is that Xala-rama-ding-dong wants a giant voidberry smoothie.

I think they tried to explain him being a quest mob by saying “that was just a fragment” or something. IDK, I don’t like any void storylines. I don’t like shadow priest gubbins. I don’t like old god shenanigans. And i’m starting to not like purple.

this will also be a splinter of the void lord. 1/1000 scale void boss

Don’t say that!

I have a purple puppy, he is totes adorbs!

Yeah but that’s fel-purple, not void purple so it’s fine.

The thing is, this is really sort of a lowball, Void Lords are universal and dwarf even Sargeras, being stated that a single Void Lord fully manifesting in the Great Dark Beyond at full power would instantly delete the entire cosmos.

We then proceed to kill this weakened universe devouring god and have Xal’atath suck up his left behind Void puddle

Not particularly because the main plot was the Dark Heart is involved but the Black Blood plot with Orweyna abruptly ends before we see the Rootlands. RIP new druids. :world_map::robot:

I don’t know if the black blood plot is suddenly ending.

Midnight is apparently about uniting the Elven tribes. Perhaps the root people count as an Elven tribe.

Yes, it’s an appropriate final boss.

If they count, then arguably the Amani do as well.

Swole Elves in the future?

It is a giant purple blob threatening all life.

Its better written then the last three expansions worth of villains already. Long as he, it whatever doesn’t give some vague prophecy about a greater threat as it dies.

We have swole Elves at home!

Swole Elves at home: it’s just me flexing

He seems par for the course.

Dinmensius is a perfectly appropriate final boss.

For Midnight.

We should not be seeing him now.

My friend you have nothing but spine connecting your hips to your chest. There is no world where you are considered swole.

Gotta love that we never got a Malfurion/Illidan build.

We did.

It’s just on the unplayable Haranir.
