My dreadstalkers and vilefiend just stand next to me. I’ve seen a lot of people playing demo so I guess it’s not an overly prevalent issue.
Do you have your pets set to passive?
I have to say no or look really stupid. Thank you.
Dreadstalkers are working fine for me, but the vilefiends do waste a lot of their limited time standing next to me before they join the fight and seem slow to get to the next target if the original one dies.
Yeah the vilefiend or the shadow/fire talent alternatives waste a lot of time just standing there doing nothing.
Ive also noticed my Felguard cant hold anywhere near the agro he could in DF, I pull off him so easy now
I have /petattack bound to one of my spells incase that happens. Also helps with swapping targets on the fly. :3
The pet attack function wont do much for the vilefiend pets (including the fire/shadow), including their atrocious run speed.
The devs designed that into those pets, the vilefied has an ability that he has to cast( again while does a cooldown melee pet have a cast time??!!!) and then has some weird script in it where he has to acknowledge a target for some reason and then he proceeds to jump or do the weird slow run.
The vile needs the same treatment they did with the dread dogs, back in legion players complained about how the dogs spent too much time with the slow run so the devs created a charge to speed mechanic on them where it would also increase their speed. Similar to felguard spring boost charge.
Strange really because they gave windwalker temp pets immunity to all ccs while also having a speed boost.
Every time this game gets faster they update some things and then forget a bunch of others.
That’s something that blizzard needs to fix but who knows if that’ll every happen.
I have petattack macros for all of my skills with a cast time.
Would be nice if tyrant made minions immune to cc for the duration.
Not sure why WW got image immunity for their cds while demo and unholy still have to deal with their major cds getting caught in random stuff.
You and me both are confused at devs at blizzard doing that, especially for a spec so mobile that they gave them two additional mobility abilities just for funzies and this had nothing to do with pve.
And it was given baseline not some we added a talent or w.e it is the devs come up with reason as to why they gave some specs baseline abilities over others.
Someone should make an excel analysis sheet over the stuff the devs have made baseline to certain sepcs over others.
Yes demo is bugged for me at least, my felguard is randomly attacking anything in sight when on assist like the old aggressive mode.
so weird, well i have petattack macros and passive for now.
I have noticed that the felguard will decide to use soul strike to the nearest aggro target even whn you set him on focus targeting someone i have no idea what the devs did to the ai pets but its a mess.
