I would like to start playing a ranged DPS.
I am only doing M+ content and do not like extremely complex rotation.
Is Demo Lock hard to play ?
It is not. Its rather straight forward and guides are easy to follow.

It’s easy, just generate shards, summon your demons, save Demonic Tyrant for Grimoire Felguard, and remember to tell your imps to kill themselves at your enemies when there’s, like, two or more bunched up.
And don’t forget to spread your 2 piece set bonus around. It can deal oodles of damage.
It’s not hard and still has great utility for raids and PvP.
It’s harder to play well than most melee specs, but that isn’t a high bar. Overall it’s “harder” than destro, easier than aff and overall fairly easy and fun to play (compared to aff/destro).
It could be a lot more fun if the talent trees weren’t so poorly designed.
