Is cyrce circlet still bis for pve with its gems?

With item levels on rings now going past 658 i was wondering if the circlet is still bis given its gems vs a stat stick higher ilvl

Only way anyone would ever know is if you sim it, luckily it’s very easy to do yourself now

It is still BiS for almost all specs, HOWEVER, a lot of specs have changed which gems are BiS. So sim and research to stay up to date.

For some specs it is bis for the whole patch. Others it is a replace this week or next thing. Class guides and of course sims tell you when to get rid of it

Hunter specifically has the jastor diamond and another as bis. These are of course mythic variants

I plan on replacing my circlet with a myth ring gor the extra stamina.

Heavily depends on your spec

Some abandon it the moment they get a 654 ring with good stats, others are keeping it the entire patch unless its nerfed again

It is until you typically get BiS mythic ring as a replacement.

This is the correct answer. Arcane mage replaces it at 640. Marksman pretty quickly. Lots of specs at 665, some get to keep it for bis the whole patch

Oh, it’s good? I skipped Siren Isles and kinda recently chucked the ring into oblivion… Oh well!

No other ring this patch is going to give me 40k + 40k hps so I’m keeping it on my healers :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It is til I get a crit mastery heroic or higher ring.

You can always sim, i dont know if people still use sim lol

Don’t even need to sim for specs that like mastery. If mastery is a decent stat then Cyrce + stat gems is always going to be better than any other 658 just by raw stat total.

Yes, people should sim their character. For most classes the ring loses value at herioc ilvl equivalent rings.

i just simmed all the available rings from m+ and raid against it at ilvl 658.

only 2 rings beat it at same ilvl:
The Jastor Diamond : +25.4k dps
Miniature Roulette Wheel (with my bis stats/good luck with that): +5.7k dps

both from the raid.

*if i bump ilvls to 665 , 3 more rings pop up at a low ~+7k dps

radiant necromancer band, priory of the sacred flame
85-year tenure ring, cinderbrew meadery

have a feeling im gonna be stuck with the damn thing for a while :wink: bummer.
