Is calling a void elf "blueberry" a prejorative?

Just wondering.

I’m grey, so.

nah I think it is purely in a descriptive way

Maybe? I assume they wouldn’t get offended though, since the void is quite unnatural and took it’s toll on their looks and they are well aware of that.

i read it as void walker… muchly disappointed in this thread.

It depends who’s saying it, I’ve seen it used as a pejorative and as a sassy self-description.

Looks up word.
Can’t find it.
Sees another word spelled similar which is a slur.
… yes?

I accidently placed an “r”. My apologies.

The word pejorative is not a slur? But it can refer to a slur.

“Expressing contempt or disapproval”.

Blueberries are tasty.

I prefer Banana Nut, bread or muffin.

As much as would be calling Kaldorei grapes.

No I meant the definition is a slur.

a word or phrase that has negative connotations or that is intended to disparage or belittle

So calling a velf a blueberry could be seen as a pejorative?

Anyways, I learned a new word today and that’s all I care about.

Nope I’m not insulted at all by it, in fact Iwas thinking of making a guild for all my Void Elf alts and call them “The Moody Blueberries” :blue_heart:

I think freak or mutant is more apropriate.

I thought the space goats were blueberries? …hic!

More importantly woh cares?

you misspelled delicious.

It could be taken as such, and probably it was originally meant as such. " Void Elf", " blueberry". No-one would ever call a blueberry a Void Elf.
I am a Night Elf Demon Hunter, A member of the Illidari.
Nothing at all like a berry, neither fel nor night. Nor are they.

I called my Void Elf “Meriberry” because she’s a blueberry…so no?

In the bed ? no.

In jail… ? yes.
