bm does huge damage, especially in keys with 4 set
BM doesnt need a buff.
I havent gotten 4 set yet, BM is cranking even with just 2 set.

Without tier set, bm’s damage is meh at best, especially when paired with mid-meta classes. For example, did a raid with havoc and ww who are both of a lower ilvl than me (640), can’t compete. Same with mythics currently. Hopefully I can test that with the tier set.
As of now, everything I’ve seen so far is that bm’s numbers are tied to their tier set. I don’t know how effective of a design choice it is but I can’t say anything yet because I’ve yet to acquire the set myself, I think I will reserve my judgment until then.
Otherwise, bm is fine with world contents. Being my ilvl, 11 delves are no problem. Takes a bit of time when compared to last season but absolutely doable.
This is what the issue with BM in that they are set up to have thier tier set before every one has access to them. We had to wait for season 2 to get our hands on it, so it appears like BM is going to be very weak. Those who were on the PTR know already that BM will be strong once they have their full set, so now it’s a race if you want to get all your strength.
Bm dps is really bad not having any teir. Dumb design giving a set almost 20% damage increase.

BM is not that bad without tier and tier is very easy to get and will last you 6 months.

Do you come to the forums to flex logs? You are 640+, killed the bosses in 3 mins, and you got Power Infusion. Nobody is impressed.

Bm is cranking right now. If you’re doing low damage as Bm with tier set you’re making major rotational mistakes.

Good damage is good damage.
The people complaining about bad damage are the ones not making proper rotations.
Twintedwings is a prime example of that.

To start off it looks like you have no issues competin with havoc
And tbh your damage is low
So he’s 2 ilvls higher than tainted, both of them got PI, but he’s doing 500-600k more dps.
I don’t think that’s only due to 2 ilvls of gear.
Even in our kills @ 639 i’m doing drastically more damage.

If you look at his ilvl parses they are even worse at green/grey which shows hes making rotational mistakes as well.

Look, I’m not trying to crap on others, but it’s really annoying when people flex their logs and try to mislead people. You can actually see in the raid statistics that BM without tier and with a lower ilvl is a lot weaker than everyone else, so there is some truth to what they’re saying.

your actively trying to mislead people, bm is really good and alot of the complaints ive see nabout bm damage being bad is due to skill issue. no one is flexing anything, theyre using their evidence to prove that the spec does good damage. if you find that gloating then idk what to tell you. grow thicker skin

You can set the logs to 90th percentile for item levels lower than 641 and it shows that BM is the 3rd lowest dps spec at and below 641 ilvl.

Yea, this guy has no clue bm is bottom on logs but he is so good it doesnt matter I guess
