Is Blizzard using their own BOTs in PvP?

Is it possible Blizzard inserted their own Bots to help with participation issues in PvP?

Solo shuffle RBGs seem a bit off, they almost play like an advanced comp stomp, heroic comp stomp lol.

I know already the boosters have figured out how to get their teams in the same match, but shady RMT activities have always been the cornerstone of wow pvp.

Still though, something seems off…

u should see epic bg

they play like bots

  • they dont move until the bell rings/game stars
  • they all take the slowest way possible to hangar
  • no crusader aura
  • no time warp
  • no damage/heals output (im talking like less than 10 mil dam/heals after teamfight.)

its crazy

no way these ppl r humans and move like that

maybe honor bu**y is back?

I wouldnt doubt it fortnite has been doing it for years

Blizzard says its illegal yet its rampant… Youtube videos showed that reset in SOD where waves of bots are flooding into the world.

It all makes sense, Blizzard Devs are a bunch of high end raiders, they tune the game for them and their buddies. ALL the big famous PvP streamers have friends up at Blizz, so it all makes sense.

Game is for the 1%, their buddies, and the pay piggies and whales. I dont think PvP is even on their radar, as with many things like open rampant botting and shady website activities… The players are not players, the fans are not fans, we are a resource to them is the truth.

Epic bgs seems like where you would find the worst quality pvpers.

I wont even do them.

Imagine a clicker getting stomped in random bgs by every aimshot hunter that looks at him. He doesnt play that much he doesn’t understand gear or stats and doesnt even know about the trinket set bonus.

Where does he go to get a win? Epic bgs.

No joke I had the same thought today. I’ve encountered multiple players at launch that, memes aside, seem to play like a bot. Furthermore, they do not respond to any chat messages or even target you or anything when in the starting room. I’ve also noticed some incredibly odd guild names belonging to these characters and they are on weird/odd realms, with no check pvp history

This is shuffle btw

I only did one. I said “first time, what are the rule differences?” In instance chat.

No reply. They all just stood there drooling while i hopped around in bear form.

Honestly it is starting to make sense. I dont think one word was said in chat. No one cried or placed blame when we started losing either. Just total silence. No pings. No nothing. Those arent the bgs i know…

Biggest complaint last season was queue times, now they have follower dungeons where the AI players are getting better n better… I dont see why Blizzard would not put them into PvP just to help get queues rolling faster.

I did 2s the other day for the first time with a friend and our first 10 games felt like we were playing against NPCs with an APM cap of 6. Was wild, 11th game was normal though. I think a lot of PVErs are qing for ez 600 ilvl + items from quests and such that had 0 previous pvp experience bc a lot of them had 1100-1300 mmr which I had never heard of. But they were all on wow armory/check pvp.

Honestly I am just glad the queues are shorter, AND we got a new BG map, thats kinda huge if you think about it, far more than we normally get.

Alotta weird matches though lol.

Legitimate bots would actually be preferable to like 70% of the people in random BGs.

Comp stomp AI is programmed so players can win easily. Blizz fully has the ability to program them to a level where even Rank 1 players can’t win. No player can react or do what a well written bot/script can do.

They don’t go Hangar. They go WS. Every time.

You’ll find them in all PVP content - not just EBGs.

Doesn’t mean they’re bots. A lot of people play RSS to play solo. They don’t want to talk or discuss anything.

It’s MMO PvP though. Most PvPers play WoW for MMO PvP. They want large scale battles and objectives. Arena isn’t MMO PvP so it doesn’t appeal to the majority of PvP players.

If you like Arena that’s fine nothing wrong with that but it doesn’t fit in this genre and why it’s called a mini-game.

I think you missed the mark here. Most pvp’ers you will find in rated PvP.

MMO doesn’t necessarily mean lots of people on screen at once. It means interacting with a large player base, such as hosting a fantasy style gladiator tournament of thousands of players. Arena is MMO pvp.

I didn’t miss the mark. Arena tries to pull players from the much larger BG players base.

About 10% of PvP players do Arena. It’s just not interesting format for them and not MMO PvP. They want objective based combat against groups either in open world or instanced.

Yeah you missed the mark. BG doesn’t have more participation because people like it more. It has more participation because it’s barrier to entry is zero.

It’s literally the thing you do to get ready for the other things.
