It’s a single player campaign that develops as the story progresses. Just like pretty much every single expansion since Wrath?
He’s going back to “rogue-like” content again. That was supposed to be what islands were. He didn’t say how these aren’t like islands.
What else? Oh yeah, the Maw. That’s the only part of this that actually intrigued me. Most likely because he just attached it to some vague promise of player agency. Sort of like the vague promise about how Warfronts were supposed to be on-the-ground RTS games.
Basically the entire expansion is now riding on the Deep Dive Analysis.

I don’t forgive them, this looks less interesting than BFA and I hate BFA. No new class, no new race, crappy faction wall still there. Yeah I’ll play it assuming my friends don’t all quit, but it looks like a mash up of WoD and BFA.

I’ve seen nothing that would redeem them.
I fully expect more game design by investor metric, quecraft with more borrowed abilities with 3 button rotations in hopes of getting the rng to proc on the item i want.

Hasn’t even been day 2 yet, wait until then to speculate, and then until beta to start judging, then launch before you say it’s good/bad, then after the honeymoon is over to make final judgement.
Remember people thought WoD was one of the best expansions when it launched, then week 2 hit.

If I were to add Necromancer it’d be a tree to an existing class. Priest, Warlock, or Mage.

I remember watching the cata, wod and BFA expansion announcements at blizzcon and thinking “gee that looks good”.
And we all know how that turned out.
