Im ready for tauren to become its own faction.
Are we really having this stupid conversation again?
The Sunreavers did nothing wrong if anyone apologizes it should be Jaina.
There are no good parts. Blizzard can’t force me to feel pride for Saurfang who did everything He could to make his own faction lose.
I don’t know that this is the case. Firstly, everyone got weakened in BFA, and the Zandalari are far from useless. They’re still the single greatest Troll power on Azeroth, and have shown capable throughout the life cycle of the game to be capable of consistently mustering forces for overseas projects and wars.
The Vulpera are scattered and nomadic, without a centralized kingdom, but now in the Horde they contribute to all other more settled nations they’re allied with. Who else other than the Vulpera are “beaten up survivors”? Pandaren in both factions tend to be adventurers/wanderers that don’t represent Pandaria itself.
Yes they are useless now. The alliance attack utterly destroyed them and thus the last great troll nation is now gone human supreamcy reigns supreme.
Get a better day job dude.
that’s entirely false
That is totally true. Humans rise again because Blizzard is biased for them. No other race has this much land, leaders and story representation.
oh nooooooooo, Azeroth, the world Humans originated on, has lots of humans on it!
Human sare literallly titan aliens who shouldn’t exist outside of Ulduar.
Stormwind
Dalaran
Kul Tiras
Gilneas
Stromgarde
What do Orcs have? Just Durotar.
The bias is obvious.
If the orcs hadn’t BLOWN UP their entire planet like, well, orcs, they would have plenty more.
But that is not gonna be fixed so Azeroth is all we can use now.
I think this thread really heightened my awareness of how far the quality of faction bickering has fallen.
It was always bad, mind you, but this is real hotdog water levels.
No it was always this bad. People just no realise actually how much Blizzard messed up back then.
Yes thats my point.
Horde does something bad prepatch (plot device). The expansion is focused on how the Alliance reacts (story).
Horde didnt even show up to the last fight in Legion (The love letter expansion to the Alliance)
BFA was based around the Horde winning the tree, then losing every single moment after it. The Horde campaign was what again? Based on stealing the scepter…the Alliance immediately stole it back. Retrieved Derek, for him to be stolen back. Took Darkshore, for the Alliance to steal it back.
The entire Horde war campaign was designed to set up Alliance victories.
Shadowlands was about Anduin and then Tyrande’s chase of Sylvanas. While Baine sat in a corner for a year.
Uh, “The Horde” don’t even exist outside what the writers write, of course, Blizzard did it. If the Writers decided that the horde were a bunch of flying space gas, it is what the horde is.
Shhht don’t tell them the obvious otherwise they will never check their priviliges.
Blizzard doesn’t know how to write stories with nuanced, morally grey characters or factions, so they make Horde the bad guys because it’s easy.
They never did, which is why I am fine with stopping the faction war.
The formula got repetitive.
This. Alliance is all about diplomacy and talking it out… which… surprisingly works. The Horde is about action and being proactive, no quest scenario better embodies this division more than the Houjin and Tushui starting experience.
In all fairness the Horde is apparently a lot more loved by the fanbase AND the devs if past Blizzcons are any indicator, HOWEVER, just from a reasonable writing standpoint, it makes sense the faction that actually offers its new allies something in return and discusses alliances with them over a conference table (Alliance) WOULD make better allies than the faction (Horde) that basically says: “Okay your choices are join us or DIE by current circumstances.”. Just saying.
