Is blizz ever going to do anything about asbur

dude is selling people glad wins at 2100 mmr all day every day

more importantly, is bro paying taxes on his rmt income

Ye I legit don’t get it man I ask myself the same thing any time I bump into him.

Don’t know what Blizz can honestly do at the end of the day it’s too easy to get an account goin and he can login from any computer any license and do it.

Total loser irl

I mean if he is doing this all day every day he is probs earning a pretty crazy amount while playing his favorite game. Would be similar to streamer level incomes but tax free.

I feel like the gig would be up eventually :dracthyr_uwu:

So like a part time McDonald’s job?

They banned him from tournaments forever ago.

No way he makes enough to support himself + any family or future family, the rest of his life through retirement, healthcare etc. not to mention the immeasurable loss from having no job at all these years and playing video games only.

It’s a massive short-term trade off that loses long term. Maybe only way he wins is if he’s located in some super super LCOL country. Don’t know where he’s located honestly but maybe some others do.

You say that but if hes doing 3 carries a day hes maing what probs 1000 dollars a day? That is a lot more then most people earn in the world and enough after 5 years to be set for life. Hes been doing is since MoP when he was doing r1s from 5s which was what 12 years ago?

2400 climb + 50 wins with potatoes takes forever especially when half the season isn’t inflated enough to realistically get most of those ppl to 2.4 to start with. This is not even adding q times which are pretty long nowadays in 3s most of the day beyond 2.1 if ur queueing at weird off hours.

No way he’s completing 3 of those a day there’s just not enough time

Add in his partners cut + 3rd party site cut, 12 years is not enough even in a full time job if it was everyone would be retiring in their 30s lol. Retirement is not cheap.

Many tax havens in the EU with less then 1% tax on services and i doubt he doesnt have a bunch of partners that only take 10-15% of his total revenue.

Retirement is extremely cheap if you already have your house and car paid off and few hundred thousand in the bank. I can live on 12k a year with everything needed in a place where coffee costs 8 dollars a cup, most of your expenses revolve around rent/car and luxury things that arnt actually needed.

If he’s not lying on Rudar’s stream he has a full time job as a project manager.

The carries are probably just a hobby so he’s doing fine

I didn’t read past the third word of your title post, but the answer is; no, not ever.

forsure , Blizzard can’t ban him from doing anything

Just like a store can’t ban people from buying potato chips

That’s not true, because when you’re 40year after you inevitably get sick.

You don’t have enough income to treat it, you’ll die soon in agony

Boosting for money is against tos

A Croatian ww made more each year of SL than the doctors in Croatia average (double)

Rmt is insane
Swim made roughly 1500 a week in mop/wod doing cms

You must fight him alot :dracthyr_nod:

Asbur is the only player to be hard banned from wow. Blizzard devs straight up told him never to play wow ever again and he’ll be insta banned on any new account. The problem is he just gets new computers and accounts and does it all over again.

You would be surprised how much money you will bring in if you are not paying taxes on it.
Take what you bring in now and basically double it without fed, state, SS, medi, UI, local taxes.
That would be a 1099 filing which carries additional self-employment taxes since they are not getting them on payroll.

Also, you are assuming he is just pocketing the entire bankroll into a basic checking account and doing nothing smart with it.
Drop that into an index fund, or even high yield savings if you want to keep it accessible or are not willing to gamble in the market and it will continue to accumulate additional wealth for you.

I would believe it with the funds being primarily USD and under the radar.
RMT business was booming in SL with the PvE players buying boosts for gear.
The gear differential made it trivial for boosters, so he was probably running a zillion players a week.
Dude was probably raking in gangster level cash by Croatian standards.
His parents probably told him gaming was a waste of time and would never get him anywhere.
He showed them.
