Is BfA Worth Playing Anymore?

I don’t think BfA has been a good expansion, and I have not been enjoying the latest patch. I have been slowly turning away from WoW because of what has been happening recently with the game and company. I don’t even know if WoW in general is still worth playing, let alone the BfA patch.

What do you think?

If you like playing it, sure.

If not, then probably not.

I think you let these forums/popular youtubers dictate your opinion too much.

This is a very subjective question. With all video games, I simply ask myself this: Do I have fun while playing this game?

If yes, it’s worth playing. If no, it’s not. :man_shrugging:

I think if we ignore the bugs (which are mostly fixed now) and end game spoilers, 8.3 is actually pretty fun and I haven’t even raided yet. There were a lot of missed opportunities with this patch, I admit, but the fun factor is still there.

It is worth playing for me. I do raiding , M+, dailies . So for me there is always something to do . I don’t rush things at all, so there is plenty of content for me to do

You know… I don’t think BFA was a good expansion over all.

But with that said. I honestly did enjoy some parts of it for while before I felt overwhelmed.

So yeah, I would say I had fun. Probably 49%-fun and 51%-unfun.

Hey look another one of these posts, do whatever

If you like raiding but hate pvp, cinematics and/or lore, then it’s good.

If a game isn’t fun then you should find something else. Not trying to sound harsh, but if your leisure time is wasted on things that don’t bring you joy then I encourage you to find something that does.

Tell Blizzard why you don’t think it’s worth playing. Then…stop playing.

Well of course.

Regardless if you are not satisfied with the overall direction of the game, new content is still new content, and if you like the game, why wouldn’t you want to play new content?

I’m enjoying this patch. I like a bit of a darker story and content. Sometimes it seems as if the dailies are set to when it their turn to pop, such as finding 3 treasures or killing 3 rares, they seems to be extremely rare but I’m alright with it.

Maybe you’re burnt out? Give it a break for a bit, you’ll be back. Think I’ve quit this game 10+ times in my career.

Im only playing to u lock the allied races and prepare my classes/healers for the next expac. Im having more fun doing anything other than bfa content, just sucks I need to play bfa content to unlock customization/allied races lol. Id trade the 120 boost in a heartbeat for a rep buff or just to have this crap unlocked already. 21000 rep to go!!! Now if only they didnt have timegates/etc on how much you can get daily…hell id dungeon grind for rep like before if we could…

I sure do miss tabards being useful and getting them early on.

I really don’t know. I am addicted to the game, but I really don’t enjoy playing it. I can’t play Horrific Visions solo, PUGs don’t work, and no one in my guild likes to do them as a group. I have been stuck on teir 5 for my cape because I haven’t been able to complete the side objective. The raid is not that bad in all honesty. Some of the bosses are actually unique and entertaining. I think since I have had really bad raiding experiences with my guild, it kinda made the experience less eventful and less tolerable. That could just be a personal issue, I don’t know.

I do not appreciate the bugs, but they don’t bother me a whole lot. What bugs me the most is that I am kinda stuck with only going so far into the patch, getting bored fast, and just not feeling up to doing the same daily quests over and over again just to get useless Vessels.

I want to like this patch, I know it has been one of the more content rich patches in awhile, but I just can’t find a lot of enjoyment out of it anymore. It makes me feel as if playing it ain’t worth it. That’s why I question rather or not it’s really worth playing anymore. I would level alt characters, but what’s the point when I can level an alt a whole lot faster when Shadowlands releases later this year, or next year, or whenever they release it. Even then, I don’t know if Shadowlands would be worth playing if it will be a bogus expansion just like BfA.

The visions are awesome, really enjoyable content. The dailies that they are locked behind make me resent my time spent playing.

The dev team no longer respects the players time - spending 30 minutes flapping around uldum looking for void tears is not fun - it is bad design. 30 players trying to jump on any one spawning villager to “rescue” them is bad design.

It’s not enough yet to make me quit, but I’m not doing the content daily as it’s too frustrating. We’ll see how long I last.

i think blizzard took the fun out of WoW when they started forcing people to do certain content in order to get anywhere #bringbackpvpvendors

If you like running the same 8 dungeons over and over, or like to raid. Yes. If you like open world stuff and crafting… Unfortunately, no. Boy has this game changed.

Everything has changed. This game, the company, the community; but I don’t know what we can do about it. I just hope for the best for our future with all the change.

if you did everything you wanted then don’t, why bother if you don’t want to play.
