Is BFA Scrapping "glitched" or "nerfed"?

Blizzard has a history of killing automation and implementing changes to prevent or reduce a gold maker’s capability to net income.

Is there anyone out there who has the inside scoop on this?

Since 10.0 pre-patch, it’s now only possible to scrap 1 item at a time.
Scrapping has been, “broken” for 2 weeks now.
If one tries to load more than 1 item, the scrapper breaks, completely stops functioning – and you need to log in and out to scrap 1 item at a time again.

The Easy Scrap addon works, but is not a workaround for this.

Scrapping is was already a time-consuming and tedious process.
It is now requires constant attention, 20 more clicks, and is literally about 20 times harder.

My understanding is that if this is a glitch, one can expect Blizzard to fix it within 1 month to 1 year – and theoretically never.

There are so many bugs in BFA, add another to the list. Since it isn’t part of the current “experience”, I don’t think they care.

You can only scrap on item at a time in BFA, otherwise it’ll bug and not continue.

So yes, super bugged.

I understand what you mean 100%. I can go through a variety glitches I know of that still have not been addressed.

However, this affects all BFA professions, that make high items. In particular Mecha-Mogul and ATV makers. Mounts that people sell and buy on AH, that are used in all content.

In particular I’m wondering if anyone knows if this is an accident or the new normal.

If you put one item at a time into the scrapper and push the button, it works.

If you put more than one item and click “Scrap”, it will scrap the first item and get completely stuck. To make it scrap again, you have to log out and back in (reloading UI is not enough).

It was working fine before the prepatch, I’m certain that it’s a bug and not intended behavior. The only issue I had with it in BFA was that if I had more than one item in the scrapper while the profession window was open, it would only scrap one at a time. But at least it would continue if you press the button again, which is not the case now.

This is what I was thinking, it’s not intentional, but I wanted others to confirm this logic. Thanks,
