I’m new and I’ve been playing DH and I love it but I keep seeing posts about how ppl are taking Blade Dance off their bars and completely not using it?
Is this intended? One of the reasons I went DH is to use Blade Dance. I love the animation…

Depending on the build your running, it’s a flat DPS loss over chaos strike. Even in AoE.

Apparently they couldn’t decide if they wanted to nerf the dodge or the damage and just threw their arms up and said, “why not both?”
Demon Hunters received very little attention or iteration. Blade dance is 100% not worth pressing UNLESS it is augmented by other things. Notably the talent first blood or the legendary Chaos Theory.
If you do not have first blood and instead use COH which math nerds claim sims higher thats why they say it. Sims dont really represent players imperfections though so play what you want.
That said because of how many permutations there are with all the systems in SL the devs have made soo many wrong choices for players to discriminate each other with (there are tangible throughput differences which only sims will show and everyone will blindly choose thus the choice is an illusion), I probably will exit around the time Cyberpunk 2077 launches.
Because they are clueless about the class.
I agree play what you want there isn’t a huge difference between the two. There are more likely player imperfections in playing First Blood though because it adds a whole other button for you to press in your rotation. CoH is easier to play and even if the sims were the same you should be doing more damage with it because it is the easier choice.
