Perhaps we can have a neighboring planet that’s primarily inhabited by elementals, or whose life forms remained hidden to avoid the Burning Legion.

We did have Argus orbit the sun. Or were we a binary system?
Also, holy crap Illidan had way too much power.
Perhaps Azeroth does have neighbors, but given the nature of space, unless they exist at the same distance from the sun as Azeroth, they’re probably just about as full of life and wonder as Earth’s neighbors.

Do we have much evidence that the physics of The Great Dark behaves anything like real world space? Does Azeroth even orbit its sun like a real planet?
I wouldn’t be surprised if the sun turns out to be some type of deity, like Elune.

I don’t believe so? But they recton the lore in this game so much, plus having books that majority of the community won’t read doesn’t help things since those things are usually never mentioned in game. I know there’s been a ton of planets mentioned, but only a few of them named. i’m sure I’ve heard of one or two that are within the same solar system, but can’t remember any names. Argus is not one of these since it’s been stated that they are so far apart that without the Legion’s portal technology the universe would end before we even reached it.
I thought Draenor was in the same galaxy as Azeroth? I remember that all the way from BC… 
I used to think outland was right next to Azeroth because zooming out on the map shows them both.
After you defeat Argus and the Vindicar is above Azeroth, you see tons of planets consumed by the Void out in space.
The Legion also seem to suggest Azeroth is the last bastion of mortals to not fall, which seems to hint all other worlds have been destroyed by The Legion, or corrupted by The Light and Void.

Azeroth is actually the center of the universe. Everything orbits Azeroth.

Should check out the audio novel for Alleria and Turalyon on Blizzard Youtube channel.
We see Alleria have visions of planets glassed in holy crystals and its populations light-forged. Very interesting stuff.
