Shortly after sunup, you can see the sun and another very bright star in the sky. Is the star another sun (i.e., is Azeroth in a binary star system)?
Is there any lore related to this?
The 2nd moon returned
Can’t wait for the expansion where we travel to one of the moons in a giant flying whale and discover it’s an artificial robo moon that’s keeping an ancient evil imprisoned.

Are you talking about the red “star” high in the sky to the southeast? That’s the remains of the “portal” that Illidan pulled Argus through during Legion.

The solar system Azeroth is in has a single Sun like ours if I recall, but unlike our planet, Azeroth has 2 moons.
Azeroth’s solar system is orbiting a black hole, that explains why Turalyon and Alleria were fighting the Legion for ‘thousands of years’ while it was about 20 in Azeroth: time is very dilated near a black hole. It has not reached the event horizon yet but it will eventually which explains how they it is possible to travel to other planets.
