If you brought an army you might be able to burst him down. I don’t know if anyone’s tried it.
But he was designed for the sole purpose of murdering you to teach you humility.

He’s the Tom Bombadil of WoW. Can do everything but toss a ring into a volcano….I mean beat the Jailer.

My first thought when I first encountered him was “I’m wearing questing gear and I was walking in the maw for an hour and you’re talking to me about humility? May be you mean humiliation.”
I do not know why The Archon didn’t say to the Jailer “and we have Athanos!”

I kept wondering why we didn’t just send that invincible hulk into the Maw like one punch man. Better yet make 60 of them.
If this were an RTS, I’d have a fleet of them. Tell forgemaster to get cracking.

We kill him(while he is acting as arrogant as ever) in the Bastion Covenant Campaign… We Humble him with his death then chase after Lysonia and kill her at Elysian Hold.
Invincible he is not!
I have only done two covenants. Didn’t know that.
