very little to nothing has been said about this game since it was first announced? Anyone else not expecting much from this game now?

I genuinely forgot that was going to be a thing.
Looking at their Twitter it looks like they went into closed beta back in November, and did some interview with a developer a few weeks ago (which I don’t really care to watch) but there’s been no movement on it other than that.

I was hyped and then I saw their business model and lost interest. Sadge, because a WoW flavored RTS lite I could play at work on my lunch break sounded pretty cool.
Blizzard trying to create the next revenue stream rather than the next fun game people want to play. Again, sadge.

Phone RTS lite. Tower defense / clash of clans type, with a focus on PvE. Very unique artstyle.
Too bad they can’t figure out a better way to monetize the game.

I heard the announcement and thought it was gonna be pet battle rework.
I always thought that would be a cool way to build wow account while away.

Oh I’ll probably try it either way.
But if it gives me cosmetics in WoW absolutely.
I’ve played lots of mobile games, it gives me joy to ignore all of their pay-to-win incentives and play whatever I want for free.
I didn’t play Classic for the protodrake mount so guess again lol.

If you’re a fan of World of Warcraft you probably don’t really get into mobile games or play Clash of Clans.
If you’re a kid playing Clash of Clans you’re probably not interested in starting over with an IP for that game your parents played 15 years ago when you were 2.
IMO I don’t think this is going to be a big success, and I’m not sure what demographics Blizzard is even trying to attract.
If you’re a WoW player AND a Clash of Clans player… I’m honestly curious what your thoughts are on it.

I wasn’t expecting anything from it in the first place. That type of game is unappealing to me in the first place. But so is the business model. And frankly so is the art style. Which is fine. I don’t expect everything to be for me. I just hope they don’t do any wow tie ins that compel me to play it.

Yes. Why do you even need to ask this. It’s a game for 7 year olds with in app purchases and gambling.
It’s the opposite of a good game.
Naw, I hate phone games and I’m not a completionist.
I don’t bother with any of the Twitch goodies, either.
