Given that Sunwalkers are only an addition from Cataclysm on, It’s not really a super established thing for Tauren.

The High Mountain tauren seem to have a slightly different, but similar religeous system, so it’s possible one day they might try to train sunwalker HM Tauren, but probably not immediately.

Yes, I know the playable HM Tauren are NOT the Feltotem. But still, it would have been cool.

Glad we got Nightborne Warlocks though.

Also to the OP yes I would have liked to have HM tauren even if I wouldnt plan on making one.

Yes. I was planning on making a holy moose warrior. Was surprised we didn’t have the option, but I have a regular non denominational moose warrior in scarlet crusader armor and I can live with that.
