Is anyone else running out of key binds?

Ended up having using to use some key binds that are very awkward to hit.

I’ve never understood how people can move and press alt ctrl modifiers while maintaining fluid game play.

Too many key binds.

This has actually become my biggest gripe playing new classes lately.

So many keybinds and some classes have 1 minute cds like DK that are part of your active uses so putting it off to the side with 2-3 minute cds is strange because it needs to be used often.

For some reason it bothers me to have 45-1 min cds in my main rotation keybind areas vs low cd used often.

I use red dragon perdition mouse it has 12 buttons on the left side and like 5 on top

You should prioritize frequently hit binds to be very easy to hit, and more niche things to be further

I’d definitely be down to help anyone with keybind help. I’ve redone all my binds a couple times, usually in each xpac, so I have good ideas.

SV has some of the most binds of any class (if you wanna be a freak and have target/focus for everything and arena 1-3) and I play without a razer naga so I don’t think I could have difficulty with any class really

Can agree with this. The only dps I’ve played consistently is hunter and having net arena/scatter 123, spider sting for silence 123 , even concussive shot 123 if I’m on a caster while trying to kite a meele, freedom party members ros party members pet passive or aggressive bind. The list goes on and on and I can’t imagine another dps class having to have so many bonds as hunter

You’re a rare breed of player. Sure it’s a combination of natural talent and the countless hours of hunter in a arena setting.

Very few people can maintain fluid movements and combat while instantaneously hitting a ctrl/shift/alt modifier to charge interupt kick arena 3.

No it’s nothing at all like that, my binds are simply just set up so I can be fluid. I do have binds set up in a way that I only really strafe in one direction, since I use shift d, ctrl d, and alt d as modifiers. My more commoly used modifiers are on shift so I have nothing bound to shift A for example, so I can keep moving.

Also a combination of jumping is important too. When you’re using something you need to cast vs instants, setting up binds is also a lot easier since you can just move hands off movement keys to cast certain things.

I guarentee with organization and practice it’s possible for this to not be an issue. It’s nothing to do with some sort of skill or talent. Just some thinking.

There’s also the extra option that I’ve never felt I need to bother with but it’s moving with e s f instead of w a d.

No joke I liked using a foot pedal setup for freedom trinket and the like

I have something like 50+ key bindings and I only use alt macros. About to reconfigure and change one of my easier mouse binds to ctrl for another 30 or so.

Nope. I mouse click.

Also LOL at people complaining cause they have more abilities.

In Vanilla, you had several versions of each spell, some useful in situations to conserve mana. You’d be lucky to have enough keybinds to cover all the spells plus lesser powerful variants. I’d have to fill 5 full 12 slot bars of icons and click all of them.

What is your average cpm? (clicks per minute)

20 dead hunters per BG.

They got rid of that garbage for reason.

MoRe SpeLlS cLiCk BeTeR mentality is also the same reason people horde trash which a clinical mental illness.

Can you translate that into English please?

Sorry did I not use enough words for you? MORE IS BETTER AMRITE?!

Just play a druid= 0 keybinds pretty pog.

Less doesn’t automatically equal better too

More CAN be better if you can utilize it well enough.

You need to calm down, too.

So many angry people on the forums today.

Never said it was fam. There is a happy medium world :hugs:

Get the Bartender add on. Just did for that reason. Life changing.
