I can’t get into this raid season honestly, it just feels all the same. The bosses all look alike, the gear is bland looking. I’m just not digging this first major patch cycle (excluding the anniversary event). The only zone I like is hallow fall. All of the other zones are meh… I’m also highly annoyed how long the allied race takes to achieve through questing. So you mean to tell me you give us this Luke water temp expansion and then have the audacity to make us do an extremely long quest chain to achieve this sub par reskinned allied race?!? WHAT LOL!? Like I just don’t get their logic. Like seriously spare us. Their standpoint has always been “ well look how intricate and graphic this new raid looks, you must all be having fun?!?” The zones the raids I’ve had the most fun in were the ones with barely anything in them with minimal zone design. Blizz thinks the more artistic something looks the more fun it will be, and that’s the wrong way of thinking. Overall, I’m just not digging this first major patch. Anyone else feel the same?
Nope. Leveling and gearing alts.
I was thinking about starting this season. I think I’m ready.
Leveling and gearing alts of course. Only got my demon hunter left to level to have all classes. Which i believe gives an achievement. So that’s nice. I’m also into the final push for delves now. I’ve gotten my first tier 11 done. I’ll muddle my way through the rest. And finish the chest opening and Bran leveling achievements as I gear the alts. Good stuff. No pressure.
If I’m being completely honest, I’m dragging it out.
At this point, I just have two goals: AOTC and Zevir ??.
I have a 621 Shaman, so both are pretty within reach, but I kinda just keep delaying it and level another alt. I find it so much fun running a new DPS class through delves. It’s really fun and rewarding way to see how a class kinda plays as oposed to world content where everything is dead too quick.
Started D4. Enjoying a different kind of game casually.
I didn’t mind the raid but I don’t raid often, the m+ pool I thought was fine contrary to what you’ll hear here. (S2 looks like a nightmare tbh) But, being on an alt, it’s 100% of the slog gearing past 619 as my main was. Definitely hard not to burn out, but I’ll take a gander at the next island before I decide to unsub.
I’m still having fun. I like the raid but part of the reason is probably that delves have allowed me to gear up enough that I can easily pug it on multiple characters. That’s never happened before.
So far I’ve managed to unlock the mythic transmog on 5 alts and have more in progress. I don’t expect that I’ll get bored before the end of the season.
My only problem now is trying to gear up too many alts simultaneously and getting overwhelmed. If I’m lucky I’ll be able to finish two more this week and I’ll be back to a manageable number.

That takes care of my checklist. Time to chillax for the rest of the season and make some gold.
I still have a butt ton of alts to do something with, so I will always have something to do. Plus I need to sort out crafting professions. I have been neglecting it because I still don’t get it.
I only lasted 5 weeks. The game is now for ADHD and collectors with alt armies. I play 1 character each expansion and 5 weeks in there was nothing left to do.
I know lots of people have alts but as a MMORPG I find it weird to play multiple toons at once.
I noped out today to SOD. Gonna farm gold in retail until next season. If next season feels like this season, I’m finding a non Blizzard game & retiring. Plenty of feedback & plummeting numbers, they should be addressing it right now & they are not.
Blizzard really needs to remove the E-Z Modes from the game. If people want to say they “did the raid” they really need to do it with all the mechanics there; otherwise they just stick to E-Z Mode and then quit because “the bosses are all the same” or whatever. 
(The bosses are not even remotely “all the same” if you do them with all their mechanics present.)

Got my ele shaman to 620, then they changed the rotation and I hated it so I ditched it. Got this pally to 625, which is basically my gear/skill cap. Started gearing my destro lock, got it to 609 but then realized the amount of effort it takes to be competitive in dps compared to, well my ret pally, was a lot. I wish I never would have geared my ret pally to be honest every other alt I gear or play just feels bad compared to it lol. So now I’m just probably going to wait until next season.

My guild just finished Glory of the Hero for Nerub Ar Palace last night, so now we’re on break until the next raid tier. Will be futzing around on alts or playing Space Marine 2 until I get tired of it lol
