It didn’t seem to be doing very much, so I checked my combat log, and it seems to be healing for 10% instead of 150% of damage done.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known issue? Is this intended?

I have noticed it too while doing uldaman to try and learn mistweaver. The healing from ancient teaching felt super low and after checking my meter it definitely was not healing for 150% of the damage dealt by my kicks.
Is this just in Uldaman? Rogues have reported having a similar problem with Blade Flurry specifically in that dungeon, so there could be some bugs related to the dungeon scaling?
This is specific to Ulduman. ANY ability that references damage dealt to determine a secondary effect is doing like 5% of what it should in that dungeon. Ancient teachings, attonement, blade flurry, ignite, beast cleave, all of the “heal party for % damage dealt talents”. It’s most likely a bug in the scaling down from 70, and could possibly affect the leveling dungeons at launch. Kinda scary blizzard hasn’t even acknowledged the bug, let alone fixed it after a solid week of it being mass reported.
Odd. I’ve been running Uldaman quite religiously since the Dracthyr patch dropped. Day 1 and 2 AotM felt like it was working. I tried it again last night and I swapped back into ranged healing after the first trash pull when the entire party almost wiped because I wasn’t actually healing anyone. Which drove most of my opinions towards the spec on a different forum thread regarding monk healing specs.
I haven’t tried any other dungeons because the queue times are specifically longer and I just want to practice rotation and keybinds until it’s comfortable. I’ll try again tonight and see. But this is good to know, and if true I will be eating some serious crow on the other forum thread lol
