If you want to be mystical go Shaman, if you’re desperate for easy power, go Warlock. Orcs are not remotely academically inclined to excel as Mages. But if you care nothing for lore I guess the Blood Fury racial would be a useful buff for spell slinging.

Isn’t there a road of Elf skulls cut directly through the Blood Elf starting zones and capitol city? It’s way bigger than The Road of Glory.
We still have a lot to learn from The Scourge.
Just play blood elf. Robes are not good looking on orc

If I remember correctly, Orc Mage is actually the best damage-wise, because of their racial- it gives improved spell dmg. Also, the pet dmg racial passive I assume works on water elementals. If you’re frost. Talking regular orc here, no idea what Mag’har Mage is like.
It’s funny to think of an angry orc reading books and screaming at his fireballs to make them larger.
Tauren Mages are the rarest. They are fairly new.

I heard Mitchjones say that for some reason Orc mage scales better than other races, even DID. But idk why.

Orc is the best race in horde if you do pvp.
Otherwise i prefer undead for mage

Tried it way back but it always felt… wrong for a guy who looks like he could bench press the Moon to be wearing a robe and shooting sparklies out of his fingers. Shaman, cool they are very physical. Warlock, cool (?) for the evil look of them. Your mileage may vary.

their racial is good for setting up bursts since it provides SP, their stun reduction is very good for pvp if you pvp. the pet one is kinda meh idk if it works with arcane pet i assume not since it isn’t considered a pet i think but it works with the frost one but the frost pet does very little damage in general and mostly used for it’s CC or used to be and set up shatter procs.
as for lore it’s not super indepth like say humans or elves but they did learn it via ogres if i am not mistaken
