massive issues would be created from that, it would have to be reflective of mythic gear (think delves that are mythic raid levels of difficulty but solo).
i absolutely destroy the meters as aff but i dont use anything the internet guides suggest. im all haste mastery with some crit haste and M+ i do 2m+ dps on most mobs. Its actually nice being this OP except i have a hard time getting into keys or upgrading mine as no one wants to play with a warlock. EVEN ON LOW KEYS
Might be more about M+ rating than being a warlock, or any class for that matter.
Warlocks are still pretty fun to play, you just have to make peace with the fact that you performing at the 95th percentile is the same as most other classes performing at 60th percentile.
I play almost exclusively Destro after the buffs because talent adjustments work for pretty much any scenario.
Hellcaller + CDF build for M+ is the way to go. If the dungeon has mostly smaller packs with priority targets (i.e. Grim Batol), then taking the three Shadowburn talents is better than dipping into Decimation.
Diabolist + Soulburn + Decimation sims the highest for single target in raid and it feels that way too. You get great snap cleave when ritual completes, which is super helpful for fights like Mythic Ulgrax, Bloodbound, and Rasha’nan. If you need to cleave more regularly, dipping one point into Mayhem/Havoc pretty much solves that.
Warlocks of all three specs are at a relatively weak point for raw damage, if you look at the stats. But they’re still totally viable (see Destro in WF M Ansurek and World Record for MDI Necrotic Wake) with the right build.
DH has that title by a mile…
