Is account reputation earned by one character or multiple characters

Can someone endless grind rep through alts through world quests or is it limited to one character per account.

Dragonflight and War Within reputations are shared between your account. Any reps from prior expansions are not (yet).

The goal is to make rep account wide for all characters. With each potentially patch/expac, they will retroactively add rep from previous expansions for account wide progress.
