Is a 2000 M+ rating considered low?

2000 is bad?

You can tell by the colors at least in my UI if I see someone with 2000 it has a legendary color to it, 1000 is blue color.

Well… if 2000 is considered “low”… then apparently I’m considered “beyond abysmal.”

Yes. But NOT because it is low. Trust me. Watch how this develops.

2k is well above average.

My 0 rating might be skewing the average.

I feel like 2K in week one, with casual players like myself not having tier set and solo queuing is kind of an accomplishment.

It is still an accomplishment if you have a premade group and are going for it, the jump from 5 - 7 keys is pretty good and they require knowledge of your class and of the dungeons.

depends a lot on both the season you are talking about and how long into the season it is. Historically at the end of the season 2k would be considered low by most people that do m+ throughout the season. For the very first week in a season, 2k is pretty decent.

in a month or two you’ll see people calling it low. It is very respectable this week.

According to data from raiderio, 2k is generally around 25% of people that have completed m+ dungeons in a typical season. So if being in the top 25% is low then I guess.

Yes. It’s a horrible rating to have at the end of week 1 of M+. Imagine not being 3k by now.

Seriously though, it’s a great score to have so soon.

“that have completed m+ dungeons in a typical season” is a pretty small bar though, which is why i said for people that do m+ throughout the season. There are plenty of people that do 1 or 2 keys and never do another one for the season. They are included to make that 25% number, but hardly anyone would say “only 25% of people that do m+ are above 2k at the end of the season” because those people that do just 1 or 2 keys arent really doing m+, they just tried it out and didnt like it (which is fine, but it makes drawing the line for the numbers unclear).

So yes 25% of people that have done m+ are 2k. In your scenario it would be less than that.

No, It’s not low at all.

2.2K+ I would consider top 5% as that’s clearing and timing 9s and 10s.

2k+ during the first week of a M+ season is always an accomplishment. I got mine a few hours ago!

2k for the overall playerbase? No

2k for people who do mplus? Yes.

Seems like it’d be low unless you’re missing rating in a dungeon. I’m not sure it can even be under 2k if you’ve timed a key in every dungeon.

no, rio is saying “have you done any keys? Yes? You are included in this.” So all the people that just tried 1 or 2 are bringing the average down. If you don’t include those people, the average is much higher.

This season its kinda low. With notable exceptions its a easy season.
