My first month of playing. My friend was given 15k gold for free. . . I don’t know what the context was but he told me and he showed me and it’s true and I’m a bit jealous. . I was just wondering if it’s really that easy to make that much gold later on. I can’t tell atm cause i’m not making that much money definitely not enough to just give out 15k to random people. Also, If it is that easy are there things I can do in the game for people to pay me? Like harvest and trade certain stuff? I just really want to be “rich” now. lol

It’s not really a big deal to be honest. I have about 150k and I’m not even trying.
decided to level an ally alt on a brand new server, just do story and for fun.
within 20 min of being in stormwind, my friend won some kind of hide and seek grand price and got 50k.
now we have gold to tmog ourselves. lol
I get about 10 to 15k in a few hours from running some old raids

I can make 1 mil in a day easily if i make it my it my mission to make gold on that day.
Some days I make 500k just randomly.
But I also spend like 500-700k on consumables during push week.

Leveling up you’ll make that much easily. If you want to make money, herbalism and alchemy will net you a lot of gold this xpac selling potions & flasks. Or inscription and selling war scrolls and augments.
The mindless way: use eight 120 toons to run Talanji world quests for 2k gold emissary reward (expires tomorrow) and you end up with 16k in < 2 hours. Any gold from the world quests is a bonus!
Problem right now trying to sell matts is that everyone is off school for the summer or work cuz of the virus and they are all farming and saturating the markets. Your best bet is running old raids and vendoring the drops. That’s guaranteed $$$gold GL
Just multibox like 15 druids like a pack of pigeons and farm herbs till it destroys the market.

At max level just run nighthold 2x and emerald nightmare bam, like 6k gold there alone
At max level, if you run through the warlords of draenor raids on normal, heroic, and mythic, you’ll get 20-21k from vendoring the items that drop. It’s not the best way to make gold, but it works and you get new mogs.
Herbalism/mining is better. If you can find an area that’s not camped by multi boxers.
Mine ore. Pick herbs. Do it for an hour a day. Easy gold.
I make about 100k a week by checking in once a day to repost raid consumables and glyphs on the auction house.
15k’s not that hard to make. You can make that much running a couple of old raids and selling all the stuff you loot.
I would suggest lvling to max , as 15 k is pocket change
It’s not particularly hard. Once you reach exalted, you can keep grinding rep with the factions and for every 10k rep, you gain a cache with 5k gold. Not to mention there are often emissaries (Daily groups of 4 world quests, about 10-15 minutes to finish) that give 2k gold.
And yes, you can always go grind Herbalism/Blacksmithing nodes and sell the yields in the auction house.

Run into all the raids, kill everything, loot everything, vendor everything 15k gg
