Yeah, I’m resting, I can log off quickly in cities. I don’t need to be alerted of this. How do I turn it off?
You made the UI minimalist, but left that animation in there when nothing else is animated.

I don’t think you can, it wasn’t animated before. I’m sure they’ll add a toggle option for it at some point.

There was a Zzz animation before, just different. The portrait glowed and the Zzz was in a little circle. You probably won’t even notice it soon. If you like minimalism, this is should be easy to get used to as it’s simpler than the old style.

It kind of is a big deal. The eye is naturally drawn to things that move. The animation makes it very distracting even if the icon is very small.

I don’t think it’s a big deal. But if I had the option to change it to something less visible I probably would. It has caught my eye a couple of times. Then again, it’s a new thing. I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

No I know it’s there, And it’s so miniscule and tiny and I’m usually afk since im in a rested area in the first place. Also I think the animations cute and I like it.

It’s not a huge deal and I actually like the new UI, but I don’t really like noticeably repetitive animations. It would be nice if it could be toggled, or set to non-animated.

The movement of it keeps catching the corner of my eye in an annoying way. Is it rage-inducing? Nah. But I’d rather have it off.

didn’t notice that. i use Shadowed Unit Frames, which was up to date with the patch and spared me from witnessing what the OP mentions
Hahaha. Here I thought this was gonna be about the green Zzzz coming of the character when in resting areas not the character portrait.
Wonder what addon I have that’s showing Zzzz (every once in awhile) floating around my head.
Fwiw, I haven’t even noticed the zzz on the character portrait and I keep those close to the middle of the screen.
